Dan Power is an intrepid traveling wedding photographer who shares his time between his home in Alberta, Canada and Costa Rica with his wife and business partner, Josie. Dan is known for his down-to-earth, personable spirit and his consummate professionalism. He strives to create images that are genuine, sincere and timeless. He is an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and was recently invited to appear in Style Me Pretty's very exclusive Little Black Book.

This is what I love about my life as a photographer. I spend my winters in the tropical paradise of Costa Rica and my summers in the land of the midnight Sun up here in Western Canada.
From time to time I have the pleasure of shooting stills for film productions (see the link under the top image :). The locations are mainly in Western Canada, but my first trip to Costa Rica was on a film shoot back in 2001, and I am happy to say that CR is now my second home.
Have fun checking out a few stills from the hilarious black comedy 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil'. Shot on location in and around the Calgary area...what an epic great time!
